Should Stardock and WinCustomize be Banned?

The first question that comes to the mind is "Why should it be banned?".
And the answer lies in another Question "Is Skinning an art and should it be encouraged?".

That's what I'd like to know. Banned from what? From the internet? From doing business, period? And for what reasons? Have they broken any laws?

It's a very open question, and, IMO, a not very well thought out one.

I think the 'problem' just got worse....Webshots content is copyrighted, restricting re-use, and prohibiting redistribution....

So why exactly you want WC and SD to be banned ... ??

Just because of the reasons that they didn't accept your logons / bootskins which you have constructed

on stollen images ... Some-one else did the hardwork and you just took it and converted into a simple

logon / bootscreen.

I have just gone through your gallery ... and shocked to see that you haven't made ANY ORIGINALL skin

but 100% ripped.

Just tell me, on un-baised stance, what-so-ever you have done is ETHICALLY right? Is it right to steal

the property of someone and showing it yours after doing a little polish? or on the other hand, if I

steal your car and put 4 weeks or so to re-color it and doing other changes ... will this polishing and

other changes make that car mine? Will it be transferred to me ... ????

Extending it; you went to police and filed a report and as I put your car (which I have altered) on the road, police comes and arrests me. Will cops think me in sense if I ask them to ban YOU from driving the car because I have done alot of hard-work on changing the look and feel of the car ... ???

Waiting for some sensible answer.
